Rome was not built in a day

I’m in Berlin visiting friends and enjoying the mild weather. Today, quite a few new joiners made the list.

Here are the top questions I’ve been asked.

Why focus on a newsletter?

All social media posts are subject to the algorithm. I don’t want Microsoft or Meta to decide when you should see what I write. Email is intimate. It’s between you and me. It’s like two friends having a chat over a drink.

Why daily? Why not weekly?

I’m building a habit. Every day, I have to show up, create something of value, and hit send. There is no edit button. And there is no skipping leg day.

What’s the email about?

Every company needs tech. It’s the primary resource. Doing marketing? You need some tech. Customer support? You need tech. Selling something? Tech. Product? Tech.

You get it.

Yet, too often, there’s an ocean between business and tech. Translating between the two is hard.

I aim to change that. I want to see a world where business outcomes come first.

I post actionable advice you can apply in your business, whether you’re a CTO, CEO, engineer, or PM, to build the right thing faster.

Check out a few of the previous posts on the blog I just launched: https://daily.pelc.cc/

And welcome to the TP newsletter.

I leave you with a question.

Was there a time when you felt that business and tech were disconnected? What happened? Hit reply and let me know. It’s fuel for my fire. 🔥

Have a fantastic Friday,

Taj
