75 days

That’s how many working days are left until the New Year.

It’s the final sprint.

That’s ~100 focused work sessions + the daily multitasking.

After freelancing for two years, I’m at a crossroads. While the autonomy is great, it’s not paying the bills.

I’m cautiously exploring full-time opportunities that offer:

  • A senior tech leadership role (CTO, VPE, Director)
  • Autonomy in how I work
  • Opportunity to shape the tech strategy and mentor teams

My strengths remain:

  • Aligning tech with business goals
  • Mentoring tech leaders and teams
  • Optimizing development processes, developer experience, and CI/CD

What does that mean for you?

Very little. It’s a different way to trade my expertise for money, one that offers more stability and less time spent on marketing, sales, legal, and proposals.

It would be nice to focus more on making a massive difference on a single project for a longer period of time.

I’m still committed to my daily email and sharing what I know and learn through my newsletter, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Best regards,

Taj

P.S. Write to me if you know of a company that needs my particular set of skills. I’m looking for a product/service that makes a positive change in the world—hard no on ads, crypto, or gambling. Though I’m not against AI, I’ll deduct -3 points every time the promo materials mention “AI” as a core feature. 🤷♂️
