Feel good content

Software development has two sides.

The “it’s just a button how hard can it be” illusion.

And what it actually looks like.

I admit that fewer people would probably want to “make an app” if they knew how much effort goes into it.

There are many traps that you need to avoid.

Like picking the wrong stack, hiring too early, not validating your features in front of the users, and more.

I write about those traps so that you can avoid them.

Let’s face it, most development teams are not that fun to be on and it’s easy to burn out.

But some are fucking amazing.

If you’re building something you care about with people who are just as passionate as you and making real progress, it feels fantastic.

I want to enable more tech teams to achieve that.

I’ll keep writing about the traps to avoid and what to do instead, so that you can grow and lead an amazing tech team.

The thing is …

It’s not feel-good content, because doing that is not easy.

It’s hard and I feel it would be unfair to you to tell you it’s not.

But plenty of things that are worth doing are hard.

Feel good about your strength and courage to go through a difficult process instead. 💪

Best regards,

Taj
