AI workflows and Model Context Protocol
How cool would it be to connect AI to your data sources?
I’m updating my website, and Claude is helping me build it. But it would be fantastic if it knew about what I write about to produce better website copy.
So, I had it create an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server using my Kit (what I use to email you from) access token. Now, I can ask it, hey, when was the last time I wrote an email? What themes repeat the most?
And it can fetch the emails from the API, read them, and give me an answer.
Pretty cool.

Now you’re thinking, that’s all well and good, but I don’t have time to learn how to program MCP servers.
The thing is, you don’t have to.
You simply ask Cline (Claude), “Add a tool that can read my kit.com using v3 of the API,” and it will build itself an MCP server that works.
You may need to help it by getting a token, pasting the docs, or looking up API endpoints.
That’s not a zero amount of work from your side, but still pretty good and actually useful as opposed to a gimmick.
Can you imagine how much you can augment your workflow by building more MCP servers that hook up to your tools?
That makes me excited to build more complex pipelines.
Yours,
Taj
