The diminishing returns of LLMs

ChatGPT3 felt like magic.

It was the first model that was actually useful.

Everything since then has been incremental improvements, and all the big GenAI players are playing tit for tat.

It means that when a new iteration drops, it’s not mind-blowing. It’s slightly better.

Slightly better over time still makes a massive difference in the long run.

But the huge leap we experienced two years ago has not been repeated.

The platform is maturing.

It’s time to stop panicking about AI replacing your job and learn how to use it where it can make you more productive today.
